Fossil Silver Pendant
This fossil is inspired from an SEM picture of a 0,5 mm prokaryotic organism baring the name “Florilus boueanum” which was found in Gram Claypit, where it lived in miocene time, some 5-10 million years ago. This particular specimen is made of 925 oxidized sterling silver and can be worn on a 3 mm leather chain, bought separately.
This pendant is one of the "Haderslev Icons" - they are meant as a celebration to our area and what makes it special. The pendants derives from the elements, that constitutes the official present given by the Municipality of Haderslev, a wine coaster, that I made for The Royal Couple of Denmark, visiting the town in june 2013.
